How to Use for Natural Hairstyles

We've created a system of 6 steps that will transform your hair as long you're consistent and patient! Follow these easy steps and you're on your way to beautiful healthy hair

 

Step 1 - Crazy Curls Rice Water 

Use monthly until your curl pattern has formed, then switch to as needed (we recommend Quarterly)
Pour over wet hair. Saturate. Massage into hair and scalp. Cover with plastic cap for 20 minutes maximum. Rinse.
ALWAYS FOLLOW WITH STEPS 2 & 3 

Step 2 - Intense Moisture Deep Conditioner

Use monthly until hair is healthy, then switch to as needed (we recommend Quarterly) 

Section wet hair. Comb generous amount throughout. Cover with plastic cap for 45 minutes. DO NOT RINSE. Follow with Step 3 - Extreme Hydration Hot Oil.

ALWAYS FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER STEP 1 AND THEN AGAIN TWO WEEKS LATER 

 

Step 3 - Extreme Hydration Hot Oil

Use monthly until hair is healthy, then switch to as needed (we recommend Quarterly) 

Heat bottle under hot water (be careful not to burn yourself). Saturate hair from root to tip. Cover with plastic cap for 30 minutes. Increase penetration by sitting under dryer with warm (not hot) heat. Rinse. 

ALWAYS FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER STEPS 1 & 2 AND THEN AGAIN TWO WEEKS LATER 

Step 4 - Clarifying Shampoo 

Use as needed

Apply generous amount. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Will not strip away your natural oils and has minimal lather. This is normal.  

Step 5 - Moisture Balance Conditioner

Use as needed

Apply generous amount to wet hair and comb/ finger-comb throughout to detangle hair. Rinse out by gliding comb/fingers through hair. This will prevent retangling. Section hair and reapply a generous amount to hair as a leave-in. DO NOT RINSE. Follow with Step 6.

**For a boost of moisture and hydration during the week, mix water and a little conditioner in a spray bottle and spritz hair.**  

Step 6 - Humidity Defying Spring/Summer or Moisture Seal Fall/Winter Hair Butter

Section damp or wet hair. To melt butter, warm hands by running under warm water and towel drying. Scoop butter out and rub hands together until butter melts. Add butter to each section. Add MC Naturals Aloe Vera Hair Gel for extra hold. Style as desired.

Spring and Summer - Humidity defying Hair butter S/S

Use when seasons begin to change from cold to hot and your hair begins to frizz and won't hold the style. ** Due to higher humidity, it is normal to use less product than in the fall and winter **

 

Fall and Winter - Moisture seal hair butter F/W

Use when seasons begin to change from hot to cold and your hair begins to be drier than usual and won't hold your style. ** Due to drier air, it is normal to use more product than in the spring and summer**

Common Questions

How do I know when my curl pattern has formed?

When you can wet your hair and gently stretch your curl and it can stretch about 50% without breakage and it snaps back into your curl pattern. 

How do I know when my hair is healthy?

When your hair is maintaining a consistent moisturized and hydrated state.

When do I do the Deep Conditioner and Hot Oil after I do the Rice Water?

You will do the Deep Conditioner and Hot Oil twice after Rice Water. You will first do it immediately following the Rice Water treatment. Wait two weeks and do the Deep Conditioner and Hot Oil again. This is a hydration process.

Do I rinse out the Deep Conditioner before applying the Hot Oil? 

NO. Apply the Deep Conditioner for 45 minutes then add the Hot Oil and keep both products on your hair for an additional 30 minutes. This provides an intense fusion of hydration into your hair.
